SCARIEST MOMENT OF MY LIFE This really isn't a ghost story, but I find it extremely disturbing. Anyway... I was home on-line one night, it was around 3:15 a.m. 'til 3:45 this lasted. I was by myself in my living room I was the only one up, everyone was asleep. This is the most important part of the story. You must remember, that in my house that it was My Aunt, her son (who was an infant at the time sleeping in their room) My grandmother, (who was sleeping in the front room) and myself (I live with my grandparents and my grandfather was out of town). like I said earlier in the story, I was the only one up. And I know, that nobody else was up (in my house that is). Anyway, as usual I was on-line checking out some stuff, totally out of the blue I heard a noise in the next room, which is behind me, (there's a wall blocking it the door was wide open though). It sounded kinda like someone was walking outside like foot steps. In the room, there's a big glass window (leading to the backyard), with a bar outside of it, and a chain and lock. I was having a very eerie feeling, but I didn't think much of it. I thought It was just the wind or either I was probably hearing things. I shrugged it off, and continued to what I was doing. Until I heard a noise coming from the same room. Once again, but it was a different kind of noise like someone was banging against glass. I heard it about for 2 or 3, minutes straight. Of course, I thought somebody was there. It stopped for a minute, then began again. Each time, was a different noise By now I was terrified I didn't know what to do as the noises continued. All I kept doing is trying to hear exactly what kind of sound it was. Finally, I got enough courage to go wake-up, my grandmother who was asleep in the front. REMEMBER NOT A SOUL WAS INSIDE THAT ROOM BEHIND ME. I woke her up and I said, "Get up! I think someone's trying to break from the back!" Of course, she got out of bed checked out the room, turned on the light, looked out the window... And as you know it, she told me everything is fine nobody is there. And went back to bed, I still didn't feel at ease though. I know, someone was there trying to get in the house; who or what it was? I will never know. Nothing like that ever happened to me before in my life, luckily whatever, it was trying to break-in the house; hasn't came back.
